Bryce Harper lifts Phillies to doubleheader sweep of Blue Jays to keep playoff hopes alive

THE KING HAS RETURNED.

Bryce Harper almost single-handedly swept the Blue Jays in yesterday’s doubleheader; as the Phillies stay alive in the NL playoff race. Harper went 4-6 with a homerun, two doubles, and four RBI across the two contests. If the Phillies have any chance of making the playoffs for the first time since 2011, they will have to hope Harper keeps up this torrid run he has been on. This is the guy the Phillies thought they were getting. I have high hopes Bryce is going to drag this team to October.
