Listen, I get that it’s just the Rising Stars Game. Excluding Mattise Thybulle from that game is an absolute joke. Not only has he been one of the best rookies this year, but he’s been one of the most consistent players on the Sixers Roster. I get saying Zion is a bigger draw for the TV ratings, but thiccc man has only played in three games this year. Thybulle’s defensive performances have been well beyond that of a rookie. Credit the kid for averaging 1.56 steals per game. In his first opportunity against Lebron James, Thybulle stepped right into his space and played well. I know the offensive numbers don’t jump out at you, but he’s more than deserving of coming to All Star Weekend.
